Load Cells and Stress Meters
BHF350 – 3BB Half-Bridge Strain Gauge, 350 Ω
Product description
Strain gauges are widely used in many measurement applications, whether static or dynamic.
A strain gauge is sometimes referred to as an electrical resistance strain gauge, or simply a resistance strain gauge.
They are also used in measurement applications considered dynamic, where the output fluctuates significantly due to the deformation of the tested mechanical object. They are commonly used for bodies subjected to stress and torsion.
“Strain” is defined as the ratio of the change in an object’s length to its original length. A strain gauge can measure this change caused by an external force and converts it into an electrical signal that can later be converted into digital values, displayed, collected, and analyzed.
