The Wireless Portable FastDAQ is a field device designed for use in geotechnical engineering and structural engineering applications. It is equipped with rechargeable batteries, providing up to 8 hours of continuous operation on a single charge.

The data logger can be connected to various sensors for field data acquisition, including LVDTs, load cells, strain gauges, total earth pressure cells, and piezometers. The recorded data can then be transmitted via Bluetooth in .CSV format to an Android mobile phone or a laptop, making on-site data logging easy and reliable. The unit is mounted in a robust hardened plastic enclosure, which facilitates transportation and operation in harsh field environments.
