Deep excavation works are being carried out for a multi-storey building in close proximity to a historic mosque located in the city center of Adapazarı. Preventing any adverse impact on this culturally significant structure arising from the excavation activities has been identified as one of the most critical priorities of the project.

Within this framework, high-precision tiltmeter sensors were installed at various critical locations on the mosque, and the horizontal displacement behavior of the structure has been continuously monitored. This approach enables even the smallest settlement or sliding movements that may occur during deep excavation to be detected at an early stage, allowing preventive engineering measures to be implemented in a timely manner to ensure structural safety.
