Mining and Industrial Structures - Çöpler Gold Mine

At another open-pit mining site located in Türkiye, a comprehensive slope monitoring system was implemented by the GeoAnts engineering team to enable early-stage identification of geotechnical risks within the site.
Within this scope, ABS inclinometer casings extending to deep levels were installed in the field, and multi-point piezometer sensors were integrated into the same boreholes. While horizontal displacement profiles developing within the slope were monitored through periodic manual measurements carried out in the inclinometer casings, pore water pressure data obtained from the piezometers were continuously recorded via data acquisition unit systems and made remotely accessible.
Through this hybrid approach, both the location and activity of potential slip surfaces were identified, and real-time monitoring of hydromechanical parameters affecting slope stability was achieved. As a result, early warning capability in field operations was enhanced, and scientific, data-driven support was provided for safety-oriented decision- making processes.
