At another open-pit mining site, multi-point piezometer systems extending to depths of 350–400 meters were successfully commissioned. At these depths, galvanized steel pipes were selected as access casings, and grouting operations were carried out under internal pressure through specially formed openings at the pipe ends, resulting in the completion of fully grouted deep-level piezometer installations. This enabled accurate determination of the vertical profile of groundwater pressure distribution and
identification of potential slip surfaces.

Within the same project, magnetic extensometer and inclinometer systems developed in- house by GeoAnts were installed to monitor long-term deformations that may occur in the heap area. In this way, both vertical settlement behavior and horizontal displacement profiles were continuously monitored, providing reliable engineering data for assessing heap stability. This integrated approach significantly enhances the effectiveness of risk-based design and operational safety processes in mining sites.
