Vibrating Wire Embedded Strain Gauge – SIS 100

Product description

The SIS 100 Vibrating Wire Embedded Strain Gauge is designed for long-term strain monitoring in concrete and geotechnical/structural applications. The instrument measures strain by tracking changes in the vibrating wire’s resonant frequency as the wire tension varies with deformation, providing stable readings suitable for long-term performance monitoring.

Details

Standard Model
The standard VW embedded strain gauge is designed to measure stress in reinforced concrete and mass concrete. By installing 2 to 4 VW embedded strain gauges in different orientations on suitable members, you can measure the magnitudedirectional distribution, and trend of strain. Once embedded in structures such as dams and embankments, the gauges can be used to understand the strain behavior of the structure.

Biaxial
The biaxial model is highly useful for accurate measurement of biaxial true stress in reinforced concretemass concrete structures, and shotcrete applications.

Miniature
When installation conditions are constrained, the ultra-compact miniature model strain gauge can be used very easily.
