Provided that the elevation of the borehole bottom is known, Droplet provides an accurate and reliable estimation of groundwater table elevation. Droplet is lowered into a cased borehole with known depth and connected to a portable, 9 V battery-powered data acquisition unit. The system is powered on and paired via Bluetooth with an Android-based smartphone or tablet using the freely available GeoAnts Droplet application. After this simple setup, real-time groundwater table data can be monitored directly via your device.
