Instrumentation Signal Cables
Shielded Signal Cable
Signal cables are designed for signal transmission in industrial applications and for use in geotechnical and hydrological applications. They are waterproof and can be safely embedded underground or cast into concrete without any performance issues. The cables are resistant to high temperatures.
They can be used with data acquisition devices such as dataloggers, measurement instruments, laboratory systems, and sensor-based systems. In addition to these applications, they are also effectively used in power plants where electromagnetic interference and noise are present, in instrumentation and control engineering, industrial electronics, security systems, and building communication and audio systems. Due to their waterproof construction, they are suitable for use in dam structures.
Signal cables are available in two types for use in harsh environments: Heavy-Duty Shielded Signal Cables and Extra Heavy Duty Shielded Signal Cables. The extra heavy-duty type is suitable for embedded systems and applications in unfavorable
environmental conditions.
Heavy-Duty Shielded Signal Cable (Black)
The heavy-duty shielded signal cable can be safely used in embedded systems and in environments with unfavorable operating conditions. The outer diameter of the heavy- duty shielded signal cable is 7.5 mm.
Extra Heavy-Duty Shielded Signal Cable (Orange)
The extra heavy-duty shielded signal cable can be reliably used under all operating conditions. The outer diameter of the extra heavy-duty shielded signal cable is 4.5 mm.
